So I'm writing a mini-autobiography about my weight loss journey. For those of you who don't know, I've lost over 100 pounds, mostly on Weight Watchers.
I decided, with a creative buddy's help, that it was time for me to tell my story.
Perhaps one day, I'll let you read it.
Here are the acknowledgements, though.
God: who took me through my darkest years to a life that is far more confident, optimistic, and loving; My parents, Dale and De Young: you both witnessed every situation and circumstance that I brought home with me every day from school, and the emotional ramifications of them; Mark, my brother: we both struggle with the same thing when it comes to weight and keeping it off, but I want you to know that we did it and are doing it; Mandy: you inspired me to get started and keep going; and all the people who made my life hell during my middle and high school years: without you, I could not have made the final decision to lose weight, learn to love myself, and leave you all behind in the journey to better myself.
