Back in the fall of 2008, I did some academic scoring for Pearson Education. You all know Pearson. They are a huge name in the scholastic field: educational supplies, text books, etc. Well, apparently, I caught onto scoring quicker than the bosses expected. I finished a week's worth of scoring in two days.
One week ago, Lori Acker, the human resource manager, asked if I considered coming back to Pearson to score this spring and summer. I heartily accepted, and then she asked that since I caught on so quickly to the scoring, if I wanted to be trained for a supervisory position. After being a supervisor, then I could become a trainer. Eventually, I could run my own location! I asked if I could think about it. She agreed.
I prayed about it, and didn't feel weird or a check in my spirit about accepting the job; so, today, I called and accepted the job!
I start my new position (with training, of course) on March 16!
Thank you, Jesus, for bringing me a job that is right up my alley. Now I have 2 jobs!
I am so grateful. It wasn't long ago when I couldn't find a job to save my life. I was living off of savings and depressed. Jesus has brought me out of a deep pit, and I am so grateful!
