I don't know how many people actually read this blog, but really... am I doing this for myself or someone else. Good question.

Well, I'm working on writing a chapbook for the AWP contest. The whole premise is persona poems, but I'm doing persona poems about Biblical characters.
I started with
God,
Jacob,
Rahab,
Salmon,
Eve,
Cain,
Abel,
Hosea,
Gomer,
etc.

It's gonna be interesting. I am really enjoying putting myself in each person's mindset.
